Love the fact that you can sear directly in the ceramic insert and go straight to the slow cooker. Have used it 3 times so far, all dishes came out great (bone-in pork chops, teriyaki chicken and eggplant parm). The only criticism is that the product looks higher quality in the picture than what comes in the box. For example, the plastic rim along the bottom isn't exactly flush with the cooker. Also, the top and outside of the cooker gets very hot - could be better insulated.

This is my first slow cooker, however I have assisted others in use of a cooker. I researched Slow Cookers
read reviews, knew what to look for; the reviews
here at Cooking.com also were very helpful.
It was everything I wanted and stood up to the reviews! I will enjoy adding the Breville Slow Cooker to my routine cooking utensils!

This is the Best Slow Cooker I've come accross. It's a very nice feature to be able to use the dual cooktop for browning and transfer right to the slow cooker after.

Really love this slow cooker. It is great for combination meals that require bigger pots and clean up is so easy. I do not plan on buying anything other than this particular cooker. Will recommend this to all my friends and family.

The removable insert is a very good feature. Not only is the insert removable but also the insert can be used to sear meats etc. prior to slow cooking. The insert is also oven proof and can be used separately from the slow cooker. Excellent features.
