When you want to keep something hot for a long time just fill with hot water first and cover it for ten minutes, empty it and fill with Coffee or Tea, stays hot for 24 hours. Easy to pump, I really like that feature. Kay A.

Hot Coffee for Hours

This dispenser keeps coffee hot for several hours. The pump works very smoothly. It holds a whole pot of coffee. The glass liner really helps keep the beverage hot, and with the pump you don't open the pot to pour which also helps hold the temperature.

This model is an improvement on the earlier model.
Earlier model lasted about 2 years of daily use before the pump action became more of an upper arm exercise.

This model is easier to use,, keeps coffee hot all day.. 12 hrs later still hot.

Love it, can't live without it

I just purchased this airpot as a replacement for the exact same one I've had for 3 years. It keeps my coffee hot for upwards of 12 hours. If it's full it will stay piping hot longer, if it's not, then obviously not so long.

What happened to my old one is something broke on the pump hinge, causing the back of it to raise up when you push down on it to dispense coffee. I'm pretty sure this was the result of the not-so-rocket-scientists I work with attempting to both flip the switch while holding down the lever, or alternately trying to pry up the lever while holding the switch in place. (Yeah, those guys aren't that bright.)

Anyway, that's 3 years of constant use - at a minimum, 3 pots of coffee a day in there, every single day. And most days I carried it to and from work also. It's an excellent product that held up wonderfully under extreme use. I highly recommend it.
