Had a plastic grater which was used to death. Wanted something that would not break. This is very nice and very solid. Is a little larger then the plastic one it replaced and does not seal, but very nice overall.

When our second plastic grater broke we needed to replace it with something more durable. The size and design of this grater extends its use to the table. Lack of storage compartment isn't an issue at all. Just put the extra into a small plastic container. Easy to handle design, looks good enough to put on the table, durable, easy to clean, dishwasher safe. Great product for the price.

I'm happy with the grater, bought it as a present for my sister but was very unhappy that I had to pay shipping charges on both items separately, should be able to combine shipping to keep charges lower. Will think seriously about that before ordering anything else from the site.

Was disappointed in the actual drum to shred the cheese; shreds very thin and cheese sticks together as it shreds. The slicer and grater drums work great. I paid way too much, as works the same as one you buy from a department store.

This is a quality grater, My only comment is that space in front and behind the roller is too large so that at the completion of grating, chunks of cheese fall through.

While this grater seemed to be sturdy and well-manufactured, the design made it very difficult to use. It was very painful to squeeze the handle with enough pressure to grate the cheese. Even my husband found it painful, although he was better able to squeeze it hard enough to grate. I had to return it. 2 stars only because at least it seemed to be sturdy.

Solid ss construction, should last a long time. Much better than the usual plastic with breakaway handles.

Well made and sturdy grater for long term use. Would like to have a larger cheese holder for times when I need to grate a lot of cheese.
