messy job done easyly

This peeler is one of the best I'v used in years. it cuts the shell.

The only problem with this product is that it is plastic. If it were made of metal and be a little sharper it would give your final product a cleaner look. The plastic tears the shrimp rather than giving a smooth cut.

Don't buy this

All it does is tear the shell and meat all together.
Not worth the price......

I love shrimp. The butcher usually deveins the shrimp we buy, so I don't get to use the deveiner/peeler. It's slick to use.

Hard to find!

This is something I've been looking for for a while. I wanted a deveiner that didn't assume you wanted to peel the shrimp (which one doesn't always want). This one works pretty well, although it is a little large. When I was a kid, we had deveiners that looked a little like a bent crochet needle with multiple hook tips and in a wooden handle. These worked perfectly and quickly. This is the best substitute I've found.

This product made it easier to cook with shrimp, mainly because I'm not having to stand forever peeling them.
