very nice pair of scissors

just love these scissors. the fact that they come apart and are able to be washed is a plus. i use them to cut out the backbone of chickens, vegetables, string for cooking. very nice product. fits well in my hands.

Sharp, light, sturdy

This pair of scissors is very sharp, and very sturdy while still on the light side.

Xlnt product

I bought these as a replacement for some that I bought at a big box store that lasted all of 3 months before the handle broke trying to butterfly a chicken. These are very sharp and have no problem cutting through the backbone/rib cage of a chicken. Highly recommended.

This is my second pair

Don't be fooled by the title of my review. These are great shears. My son go ahold of my last pair and that was that. Came back and got another pair of them. The handle is comfortable to use. They easily come apart for washing in the dishwasher. This is critical if you use them as poultry shears, which I do. It makes short work of cutting through rib bones in chickens and yet they can handle delicate work such as snipping herbs. Just don't let your school age kid get ahold of them ; ). (lol)

good scissors

These scissors have a great feature of being able to take them apart for easy cleaning. Also I have big hands and they work for me in comfot. I havn't tried the spice remover feature but I'm sure it will be great.

Kitchen and herb scissors

I love kitchen scissors that you pull apart, dishwasher friendly and can go through a lot. I would not use these for cutting chicken as the blades are smaller than what you need for bones, but they work on anything else.

OXO Kitchen Scissors

I love just about anything from OXO. I think their vegetable peeler is the bomb and have bought one for each of my kids. So, when I needed to buy a kitchen scissors I naturally gravitated to the OXO brand.

The scissors are a good size, sharp, and so easily cleaned--the blades come apart for a good scrubbing and disinfecting. The price was very reasonable also.

You really can't go wrong with this brand.

Shear Quality!

I love the herb-stripping feature, and the disassembly for thorough cleaning is "shear" genius. Love them!
