Great Coffee But Tough to Clean

This press produces great coffee simply and effectively. It's a pain to clean as you have to scrape all of the loose grounds from the bottom of the pot. I found that using a rubber spatula gives good results. Drink quickly as the thin glass pot allows the coffee to cool rapidly. I found this same pot locally for $5 less than I paid ... I also found it for $30 more.

All in all, I'd buy it again though I wish the pot were thicker to reduce the immediate loss of heat.

Much Better Coffee than Drip

I've been drinking coffee since the early 70s and have never used a coffee press before now. The coffee taste is superb and this gives me an excuse to course-grind whole-bean (and fair trade) coffee at the grocery store. Overall the experience of drinking coffee is elevated.

Coffee Press

I purchased this product for my husband last year. He was so pleased with it that I purchased one this year for our daughter. She loves it. My brother-in-law wanted to know where I purchased it so he could buy one and I sent him the information from your website. This product is easy to use, easy to clean, and the best yet, easy to store. No need for expensive coffee pots. This one makes the best coffee and can be easily transported from counter to table! Excellent Coffee Press

We like our 8-c. Coffee Press by Bodum very much. It makes excellent coffee (we prefer the medium roast, coarse grind). It is also easy to clean.

Good once you get the hang of it

This Coffee Press makes amazing coffee, but it took a few tries to figure out the correct amount of grinds to add for the perfrect cup. Once we got the hang of it, we had some wonderful coffee!

Coffee Press a Winner

I recently purchased my first coffee press, the Bodum 8 cup. I am very impressed with the quality and appearance of this product. The taste of the coffee made with this press is excellent. amazing coffee

I love this coffee!!! It takes an extra 10 minutes (boil water, then to steep 4 minutes) but it is worth every minute. The coffee has a rich taste that you just can't achieve any other way.

Never had such good coffee!

This coffee press was an excellent choice for me. It makes great coffee, cleans easily in the dishwasher, and was an exceptionally good value for the price.

Present accomplishes goal.

A friend of mine has a 1 cup and an 4 cup press and made coffee for me. He also explained the steps to get top quality coffee with this press. Due to his recommendations, I purchased, as a Christmas Present for my oldest son in Virginia, one of your 8 cup Coffee Presses and two insulated glasses to let him enjoy as I had, the great taste the press provides. He was absolutely and completely overjoyed with both the press and glasses. This made me very happy and I plan to purchase one for myself and my wife very soon.

I like this Press Pot but the thickness of the glass bothers me. I can't see it lasting very long. It is so fragile I have almost broken it a couple times already. I think, if I breaks I will replace it with a stainless model.

Bodum Coffee Press really makes great coffee!

This is a very easy coffee press to use ( as I would imagine they all are). It's easy to clean too! My husband is an instant coffee person, and he agreed to try this and loves it. He claimed he didn't like the mess of a coffee maker, so I said I'd set it up and clean it up...it's a snap! Now he enjoys a reat tasting cup of coffee, and I have one easy job to start him off on his day. It's a great product. I recommed getting a coffee grinder to so that you can have more coarse coffee to place into the press, but store bought coffee workes just as well!

Best ever coffee!

Once you try making coffee this way you will never want to drink it any other way! The REAL favor come through the way it was meant to be. Now I really look forward to my cup of Joe!

I bought this french press to make tea. I previously used a tea ball which had a tendency to release a few bits of tea into the water.

It has worked out very well for me. I haven't had a rogue tea leaf at all since I started using it. Clean up is a snap. I purchased this and the Nissan Thermos (same size) together to make a great pair. The press makes the exact amount to fill the thermos.

A note to anyone who will use this to make tea: Don't follow the coffee brewing measurements. It appropriately states that six scoops of coffee makes the perfect brew, but I recommend 1 to 1.5 scoops for tea. Steep for 4 minutes and stir.

Bodum Coffee Press - Coffee Maker - Gourmet

Bodum makes coffee press type maker that really rocks. I actually own several. One I use with my special $30 per pound Kona, the other I use to strain my herbal remedies.
This is a great coffee pot and I recommend it to everyone.

Very Good, Fresh Cup of Coffee!!

I love this Coffee Press! I was a little unsure of it "catching" and "pressing" down all the coffee grounds, but the first time I used it...I was very impressed-not one coffee ground in my cup! and the taste is beyond compare!-so good and fresh....just Love it!!! If you can just "wait" that four minutes from pouring in the hot water and stirring the coffee, before pressing it down...it will be so worth it! I will be buying more as gifts to my other coffee loving friends and family!!!

Easy to use and makes great coffee... Glass tube slides out of the retainer if you aren't careful with handling the press. I might use some double sided tape to fix it if it gets any worse... Overall - well worth the price
