I love using a spider when frying foods but didn't realize how large it was when I ordered it. You have to have a large pot or deep fryer to use it and living alone I don't but I am going to give it to a friend that does a lot of crab boils and it will be perfect for him

I like this item because of the longer handle. It is excellent for removing items from hot oil safely. We use it outside in a fish fryer.
