I was looking for an all-purpose knife that I would feel safe using. I am very happy with this purchase. It is solid, and doesn't slip when I am cutting. Great price.

I bought this for myself, but I haven't used it yet. I bought it because I do not like the large chef knifes. This isn't small like my Cutco, but isn't as big as my Chicago Cutlery. However, my husband just loves this new knife.

this knife is not really sharp.I mean its sharp looking but cutting is not clear what i suppose expect!

It was incredibly sharp. Girl friend cut her finger washing the knife out of the box, BE CAREFUL. The first food cut with the knife was a pineapple. It cut like my old knife when I cut butter. It was incredible. The blade is thick enough, thus preventing wobble when cutting somethin thick. The handle felt very nice and did not get slippery when it got wet.
