I had to order a new chef knife as I dropped mine and it broke in half right at the base of the handle. I rarely use it and dropped it this one time. I had not sent in a warranty card when I received my knife block and set as a gift, but after reading the warranty info on your web site, it did not matter as i believe that accidents are not covered. .I have to admit I was shocked and disappointed that a knife advertised as one solid piece through the handle broke the way It did. My son who is a chef suggested I contact you but I just discarded the knife. I was hesitant to order another chef knife, but to complete the set, I did. I am sorry to have to answer no to the question if I thought the product was a good value for the price. The chef knife performed well during the few times I used it, but I don't feel its durable. Thank you.

Good knife but the handle is just a bit big. My hope is that it will hold it's edge for sharpness and be easy to sharpen a year from now.

Good knife for chopping veggies quickly and evenly. Good value for the money.
