I bought the 8-in. lid for my 8-in. bronze calphalon pan. I am glad I did. It fits very nicely.

It's hard to was rhapsodic about a pot lid, but this is a fine one.

Nice lid except it doesn't fit my skillet. It would cost $10.00 to return it so what's the point?

I bought this 8" glass lid to use with my 8" Contemporary omelette pan and 8" Tri-Ply omelette pan. It is well made and attractive. It fits both pans very well.

Yes, this product like all Calphalon products are wonderful.

8 inch pan glass lid

The lid works very well. It holds the steam in and also keeps the splatters down when frying. My only minor complaint is that it does not fit the pan as well as it could. I hope the metal edging on the lid does not scratch the pan.

Great addition to complete the set of 8", 10" & 12 " non-stick pans. These are great and far surpass the mega-mart euro-pan sets in quality and durability.

The cover was wonderful. It fit perfectly. The box that it came in was HUGE! And required lots of bubble wrap. All of which can be recycled but not necessary.

Great hard to find lid

It's a lid, it does the job. I was just hard to find in stores fro some reason.

Shipping

Shipping was almost as much as product. Next time will shop Bed Bath and Beyond where you also have them.

Availability

I wished the 8" glass lid was available at Macy's. Salesperson told me it was available online only. I needed it for Xmas. Ordering it online delayed using the pan until a week after Xmas. Very disappointed that the stores do not carry any 8" lids. Doesn't make any sense. I will warn friends of what I had to experience - maybe they will think twice before purchasing 8" Calphalon pans/pots in the future. It was a huge inconvenience; especially during the holidays.

What can I say about a glass pot lid? It does its job and fits the pot it goes with and is like the other lids in the set.

Calphalon 8" Glass Lid

This lid fits perfectly allows me to cooks my eggs sunny side up but still cook through easily to my taste. Plus I can actually observe the progress through the cover.

Outstanding design for lid for oven use

This lid is an outstanding replacement for the lid for my Vision glass pan. I use this device exclusively in the oven. I caught the original lid on a shelf while storing it, and found the Calphalon product because they had helped replace a smaller pan lid some time ago. The hoop handle design is superior to the original Vision glass knob, because it will NEVER catch on the shelf, AND because it handles the oven environment easily. Highly recommended! (th)

8" lid does not fit 8" pan

Bought this to go with a set of Calphalon Essentials cookware...which came with 8" saute and 8" sauce pans. Frequently use both at the same time and needed two lids. While this lid is nice quality and nice looking, it does not 'seat' correctly into the pans...just rides on top of the edge...it will do, but not what I had expected.
