All Clad is known for its superb quality in cookware and this 8-in. slope-sided Skillet demonstrates why. It combines the excellent heat conductivity of copper with the easy maintenance and beauty of stainless steel. Crafted in a unique five-ply construction, the cookware contains a core of pure copper that spreads heat quickly and evenly across the bottoms of pots and pans and all the way up the sides. Its polished 18/10 stainless-steel handle is riveted to the pan for strength, grooved on the top and rounded on the bottom for comfort, and holed in the end for hanging on a hook or peg. The long handle stays cool on the stovetop but won't be harmed by an oven's highest heat. Hand wash, as dishwasher-use will deteriorate the pan's exterior beauty.

I love this pan but wish the copper extended further up the sides rather than covering only the bottom.

Why do I always have "stains" in my all-clad? Other than that it is great - but that is a disappointment.

The All-Clad Copper core line is tops! You pay a price, but its worth it. This line will last and is warrantied for a lifetime. Nice even heat. A little spray and your good to go so who needs teflon.

sturdy pan with high quality, does not req copper shine. I believe the market price is to consistant and either at a great price, or price is fixed accross the board. No I am not talking about cooking.com, however it is a nice product. One that should last for life with lifetime garantee, so price was worth it to me.

Took time to adjust to it. Must keep an eye on it, food can stick very easily if not paying attention at all times. Good if using for something simple.
