Useing this glass lid is a real help to me. Because that's when the final part of the meal is ready. Without the lid, the food cool down to fast when am getting ready to sever. With the lid the heat stay inside.

The pan I purchased didn't have a lid to go with it. This lid fit the criteria and looks good if left out on the stove.

I bought this top for a 2 pot sets that had 8-in pots but no tops. The tops fit perfectly. The quality of this top is as good as my pots. I'm able to keep the food cooked in the pots warm longer after they've finished cooking.

I looked and looked for an 8" fry pan with a lid. I couldn't find one anywhere. Then I saw that I could buy a lid from Cooking.com so I bought the pan there, too.

Very pleased with the performance and the pri

Many manufactures depend on their phoo, phoo reputation and name identity to overprice such simple things as pot covers/lids.
The lids I ordered which were reasonably priced and did their required job.
I am very happy with my purchase which was delivered quickly and without a hitch.

Disappointed!

by Barbara, IL
September 9, 2010

This Farberware lid not not fit my 8" Farberware frypan as I thought it would. When I called to see about returning it, I found out it would cost almost as much to return as I had paid for it. So I just went out and found a frypan that was compatible with the new lid. Think I'll garage sale the Farberware frypan.

replacement lid

For the money, I am very pleased with the glass lid by Farberware. I would rather have a metal lid because of the durability, but all of the ones I saw were as expensive as buying a new pan and lid.

I got tired of trying to simmer things and not be able to know what's going on in the pot. Glass lids take care of this. I love them!

Replace those older Caphalon lids with these

by Pat, FL
July 31, 2011

My Calphalon pans were fine , but the metal lids had discolored and looked bad. I replaced the lids with these 10" Faberware lids. They fit fine and look so much better, plus I can see what's cooking.

I'm not happy.....I bought this for your 8 inch skillet and it is way too small. So either the skillet is not an 8 inch or the lid isn't.
