Apple Corer

I have hunted all over Las Vegas for this item and the only place I could find it was on line. I wanted to make baked apples and cutting the core out with a knife is not convenient nor easy. This works great. Thank you.

Awesome Apple Corer!

This apple corer is so easy to use. It was so easy my 11 yr. old daughter cored most all of the apples with no trouble at all. The corer did a great job in evenly cutting through the apples. We cored then added a sugar/cinnamon mix to fill the hole and a small cube of butter then baked approximately 20 minutes until done. Yummy with vanilla ice cream and so easy!!

Gets RIght to the Core of the Issue

My right hand has issues since a bad injury a few years ago. This Ergonomic handle easy to grasp and use. Just a little twist and you have a perfectly cored apple.

I made a dish of pork chop and apples. I spent less than 2 minutes coring the apples -- a job that normally takes 10 minute or more and leaves my hand aching.

If you have to core apples from time to time, this is a kitchen tool worth having in the drawer

I use the corer for deseeding cucumbers. Works great. It could be a little longer.

OXO Apple Corer - Awesome!

I absolutely love this product. The handle is great for arthritic fingers, easy to grip and non-sliding even when damp. For coring apples, I could not have asked for better performance! It easily pushes through the apple, (even those waxed Red Delicious ones) then is easy to pull back up and remove the core. It might leave a seed or two inside - these were big apples I was using, though - but those were easy to flick out with a knife, or even to shake out.
After coring the apples, I filled the holes with cinnamon-spiced apple pie filling and baked them. Really good, and made so easy with this apple corer. I definitely recommend it, as it works efficiently and the price is very reasonable.

We love baked apples but didn't have a good corer. As with the other OXO kitchen tools we have, this one is sturdy, substantial, and the handle is designed to give you a good grip. This tool makes apple coring a breeze.

Love the Oversized Handle - Great Leverage

Love this apple corer. Nice large handle that allows you to really work the tool without having to worry about it slipping. For extra large apples it isn't quite long enough. It works very well for small, medium & large apples. Requires some strength.

I am a little too short to get leverage but my husband thinks this is the greatest tool since sliced bread

It has great uses. Cores pears and apples and anything else with a core.Am grateful to have it in my kitchen arsenal. Am newley diabetic so it is a welcome addition.

my problem with the corer is that it is too large and takes out too much of the core of the apple especially if they are not really large apples

To the Core

It works! With little effort you can easily core an apple. Though, when coring large apples some of the core remains, requiring additional effort to remove it.

excellent apple corer

This was a Christmas gift from my husband and truly a blessing in disguise. I have never owned anything like this. It was so easy to use and saved me an unbelievable amount of time on something that used to take me over an hour to do without this tool. A very good product.
