This item is a high quality knife and is a little larger than my favorite chef's knife I have now, so it should work perfectly.

Love this knife! The weight of it is perfect, as is the design of the blade and handle. Slicing is so much easier.

I used this knife at my brother's house last year and loved it! I waited for it to go on sale and when it did, I scooped it up. What a joy to prepare food with this knife. It feels good in your hand and it cuts smoothly and effortlessly through everything. If you chop/slice a lot, you will definitely love this knife!
