This Cuisinart 8-in. Green Gourmet Hard Anodized Nonstick Skillet blends together the best in quality cookware with ecofriendly technology that will let you feel confident in both your commitment to the environment as well as delicious dishes. This pan utilizes exclusive Cuisinart Ceramica™ technology, a nonstick alternative that relies on a ceramic base instead of petroleum, reducing our reliance on oil. The coating is applied at a much lower temperature than traditional nonstick applications and is free of PTFE and PFOA. The hard-anodized aluminum construction helps these pans conduct heat evenly using less energy while also cooking food more consistently. As you sauté your favorite skillet full of seared veggies or scrambled eggs, the riveted stainless handles will stay cool, protecting your fingers — and as an added ecologically minded bonus, the handles are made from 70 percent recycled stainless steel. This Cuisinart Green Gourmet Skillet is also safe to use in the oven or under the broiler, making it easy to transfer dishes between heat sources, such as when you need to melt cheese on top of your burger patties or finish off your golden-brown pan-seared salmon fillets to juicy perfection in the oven.

Best Used For:

This Cuisinart 8-in. Green Gourmet Hard Anodized Nonstick Skillet offers all the benefits of nonstick with a few added ecofriendly bonuses, making it the ideal go-to pan for ecologically minded cooks looking to prepare grilled cheese, sautéed vegetables, meat, poultry, seafood, scrambled eggs, omelets and almost anything else you feel the need to brown, sear or pan fry.

  • Good product

This skillet has a nice hefty weight and a very slippery non-stick surface. Terrific for eggs.

  • Best Non stick around

It's a great pan. The non stick works better than any other I have used. Literally nothing seems to stick to it and the finish is very durable. Great way to cook without a lot of oil.

    I recommend this product.

  • Great little pan for one!

It's easy to clean, makes a perfect 2 or 3-egg omelet, sauteed a small steak in it. It has a good heft and fits my average-sized hand well and comfortably. The handle really does stay cool,as advertised. My only complaint, and it is true of all non-stick pans (which is why I prefer stainless) is that it can't go in the dishwasher. You have to be careful when washing to be sure to use very hot water and soap to remove any residual spattered on grease or drips on the outside, as they will burn onto the surface if left on. The dishwasher with it's super hot cycle usually gets rid of this on my stainless. A

Looks good and cleans easily. I do not know how well it will hold up as I have only used it twice.

  • Everything was hunky-dory

Had to use that term since perhaps only 10% of those left walking around know what it means:-) Have only use the skillet a couple of times, but it seems to be high quality, and at a good price.

    I recommend this product.

  • Great little pan!

Excellent heat distribution and the non-stick surface is perfect for what I needed it for- cooking eggs with little to no oil or butter. Have only had it for 2 weeks, so can not comment on durability. Love the pan!

  • Just the right size for a 1-3 egg omelet or a small amount of other items. Works well with a small amount of butter or oil; I sometimes use cooking spray.

  • Very Nice Product

I purchased the Cuisinart green skillet because of disappointment with another product I bought which looked to be PFOA-free but turned out it was. The cuisinart skillet has performed very well, though I have only used it 5 times. It washes easily, eggs don't stick, and best of all it is safer than some of the others that cost twice as much. I realize I will have to be careful to protect the finish, but don't mind that. I have iron skillets that I can use for other purposes. i may go ahead and buy a larger one next.

    I recommend this product.

  • Cuisinart Nonstick

I have a Multi-Clad Pro stainless set from Cuisinart that I absolutely love (I tossed out all of my other cookware when I got this set), but my wife has not been too pleased with the 8" stainless skillet when it comes to making her morning eggs over medium...despite trying many different suggestions, tips and theories She got fed up and told me I'd better get her a good nonstick skillet. After some brief research I came across a lot of good reviews for the Cuisinart Green Gormet Hard Anodized skillets. With my past experience with my current Cuisinart cookware (and the excellent price I found on Cooking.com) I pulled the trigger.

Not only did Cooking.com have a great price it also had great reviews on the product in question, and the order process was easy and delivery was fast.

After unwrapping it and inspecting it, I was impressed with it's overall construction, especially for the price. Pictures do not quite do it justice.

While I have not yet used the skillet myself, the wife has been using it daily for over a week now, absolutely loves it, and is happy...and that is all that matters to me.

    I recommend this product.

  • Frying pan is a flop

I have been searching for this fry pan, because of the boasting I've read in reviews and on their advertising. I am trying to stay away from any type of fat/grease and this pan promised to be a non-stick pan without needing to use any type of fat/grease to cook various foods. I've used this pan several times, and all but one time, my food stuck to the bottom of the pan (eggs, pancakes, etc.) How disappointing!!!! What a waste of money that I squeezed out of my budget. Buyer beware.

  • Nice little pan

The pan has held up and is still nonstick after a couple of weeks of use. We have a gas stove, and we keep the heat between low and medium for these pans. I just wish Cuisinart had these in a 10" size. The 8" size does not work well for the omelets my husband likes to make.

  • This is a terrific green non-stick pan. I can easily flip pancakes etc. with the pan just like the pro's. I recently cooked a cheese omlete and the cheese did not stick to the pan. There is a similar green ceramic pan sold on infomercials that you have to cure just like cast iron pans. This green gourmet pan does not require cureing.

    I recommend this product.
