Disappointed you would sign up for a magazine

    by Patricia, IN
    July 16, 2011

I was most surprised to get a card through the mail today saying I had signed up for a Wine and Food tasting magazine. for 12..00 I most certainly would not have signed up for a magazine. I do not want this magazine. I do not drink, nor does my husband. I am most disappointed that cooking.com would do this. I could not recommend this site as I would not want that to happen to other people as well. I did not sign up, or agree to have a magazine sent to me, that is for certain. I feel used. That is not a good feeling. When it comes through on my credit card, believe you I will call and tell them I never agreeded to subscribe to this magazine.

We love poached eggs, finding an egg poacher was difficult. Now we can have them all the time and it is very easy to get perfect eggs everytime. The only problem is that your fingers get burned when you are taking the eggs out after cooking.

We were very pleased with the purchase we made for an out of state friend, who was happy with the purchase too. The newlyweds were very happy with it. It matches their pots and pans and very functional.

    The Egg & I

    by Virginia, WI
    November 20, 2007

I liked my egg poacher so much that I bought one for each of my daughters. The mystique of eggs benedict, etc. has now been resolved. Poaching is much easier than boiling and peeling, and quicker than frying, let alone healthier.

For years I made the worst poached eggs. This is the BEST investment I've ever made and the price was fantastic. I give it 5 stars.

For the price, it is a good item. However, the plastic cups do not cook the eggs or egg beaters evenly so you have to learn how to adjust.

Tried out the new poacher and it worked fine. I did spray the cups with Pam before I cooked the eggs and it worked fine.l
