We love this- it is nice and wide, and we've used it several times already to chop large amounts of vegetables (for making steamed veggies, mashed potatoes, etc.) very quickly and safely.

We saw the mezzaluna used for the first time and were truly impressed. She loves it, says it is everything she thought it would be. Now I just need to purchase one for ME!

However, less than a week after receiving it, one of the handles developed a crack. I don't think we were using it inappropriately, I just think it's probably not as durable as I would've liked.
