Great Buy for the $. I've used it several times already (just recently purchased) & it's a pretty sharp knife. My last bread knife just couldn't hold up to the task, handle broke off but, this knife seems to be pretty sturdy.

The Henckels Bread Knife seems perfectly balanced and easy to wield, and cuts through my home-made artisan loaves or crunchy French baguettes with easy! I love it!

Before using this one, I would have said my Ikea nice was fine. It does do the job, but the Henckels is noticeably better.

We needed a bigger knife to cut bigger (and trickier) things. This works quite well and we got it at a pretty good bargain. (A price cut, as it were.)
