Better than my Wusthoff Classics my son gave me for Christmas(Just don't tell him as the knives set him back almost $900.. Unbelievable value for the price. Great handle.

You can't touch it for under $110

I have a set of hand forged knives I bought some years ago. I started with the chef's knife, which I love. But that knife is 10" long and unwieldy at times. I had a Kullens blade Santuko knife in the set and broke the edge on a very hard object. I couldn't afford to replace that knife, though it was my most used knife due to it's sharpness and length. Well, I don't need to replace the expensive knife because I found a better one. This knife is light, sharp, and controllable. There is no knife at 4X's the cost that can beat it. If I need a heavier knife then the 10" Lamson comes out.

i bought this knife after reading a review in a cooking magazine i subscribe to. it said the knife performed as well as knives that cost much more. i took a chance on it and their advice is accurate and well worth the price. the first time i used it, i was like "wow"! i can't believe this knife was only thirty bucks! it's my new favorite knife, enough said.

I always steered away from recipes that called for a lot of chopped veggies because chopping was a chore. This knife changed all that. It is comfortable in the hand and it cuts like a dream! I reach for this knife over my more expensive ones because of the Fibrox handle - a sure grip with wet hands. No wonder Cooks Illustrated rated it so highly. This is an excellent value for the money. Every cook should have this knife!

This knife is great. I'm no expert, but the weight of the knife seems to be ideal for me. It slices and chops extremely well and is dishwasher safe. The handle is well designed and comfortable to hold, and for me that's important. No need to spend lots of money on fancier knives, when this one is a real winner!
