nice knife

This knife has an excellent feel in your hands,easy to use takes a little getting used to, due to the handle which actually helps in chopping. Very sharp, has worked great, hope to get many years of service out of it.

Super sharp, good construction

While it's not the best-looking knife, the 8-in Hollow Ground Chef's knife is a workhorse and great addition to the kitchen. I bought it to supplement my Global knives--the Santoku is too short for large veggies and the boning knife is too flexible. Great for prepping lots of onion, garlic, carrots, etc. I don't think the divets necessarily made chopping and slicing easier as far as preventing clinging of food to the blade, but the handle does seem more comfortable than others. I like that this knife is made in Taiwan, not China, like the Guy Fieri signature collection by Ergo.
