Very good, still learning how to brew it.

This is a very good coffee, I have made it a few times. I am working on getting a finer grind on the beans each time I make it. Tastes very good, stong, not bitter at all, with a slight hint of that chocolate as described. Currently in my top 3.

My only critique is that you don't have a roasting company within driving distance! Peace, Dave M.

Buffalo Soldier

the Buffalo Soldier blend is okay - not great. I prefer even darker blends. Dissapointed that no Jamaican coffee was in the blend. (should have read the description better) I am used to coffee by the pound, so the 12 oz bag seems a bit pricey.

Buffalo Soldier Review

by Russell, IA
June 2, 2011

It was fairly smooth but their wasn't a real distinct bold flavor or aroma as compared to Starbuck's standard House Blend. Upon opening the package, it didn't seem overly fresh and it lacked the aroma that I would expect from a fresh bag of beans. For the price, we will probably stick with Starbucks unless the price becomes more competitive and we try another blend that we like better. The lion stamped all over the bag appeared to damage the print on the bag making much of the text difficult or impossible to read.

Waking up to Buffalo Soldier

Buffalo Soldier is a dark, rich coffee that is perfect for making espresso. I like it so strong that when I look through the glass pot, I can't see the neighbor's house. What an awesome way to start the day. Cheers!

Rise before the sun, shake out my dreads, walk my 2 dogs. Get back home, grind my beans, brew my coffee and enjoy my first cup with the sun rise! Give Thanks and Praise to the Almighty Most High, JAH ! RASTAFARI ! Enjoy the Blessings of each day, cope with the tribulations that may come my way, jus' like a Buffalo Soldier.

good aroma, very good flavor but slightly more bitter than I expected. Price could be 15-20% less. recommend a wire tye rap closure instead of sticky tape.

Good coffee, but not worth the cost.

I bought JAMN stock based on financial reviews. It did very well the first few weeks, then it tanked! While stock value was climbing, I thought I'd try the product. I bought Buffalo Soldier. The coffee was pretty good, but not worth the $20 I spent (including shipping). This morning I read an financial article that stated JAMN coffee beans are imported from South America and Africa, then processed in the US. Is this a scam? Are Bob's sons trying to make more money off the patriarch's name?
