I thought the salt server was too large. It doesn't stop moisture either.

I would recommend this product to friends and family, the salt server with spoon is high quality, I would buy it again.

Just what I needed

Nice piece of equipment for your kitchen. I like the seal around the top of the container. I wish it was a bit larger but as is it doesn't take up any space on your counter top. Very handy and useful.

Value...awesome

It looks so professional sitting on the stove. It's well worth the price. I like the lid aspect and also I like it that the bowl can be removed for washing. Very good value.

Salt Server w/spoon

The product is a bit smaller than I thought, but that is OK. The spoon is worthless. The finish on the lid already had a couple of small spots where the coating was eroding. Frankly, it looks like something one can get at Marshalls's for $4.99.

Who would have ever thought a salt server could make such a difference in cooking? It's so much easier to grab a pinch of salt or measure precisely without having to pour salt from a canister or shake salt from a shaker.

Not like alton's!

My fiancé and I are avid food network watchers. We love to watch good eats more than anything because we feel we learn the most. In fact, watching that show inspired him to start cooking. He was dying for the salt bowl that mr. Brown had. Sadly this was not the same one. His has a curved handle and looks easy to open and use with one hand. This product had a straight handle and very hard to hold and use. What a dissappointment for my Alton brown enthusiast. My gift was not a hit. :( Sara S.

Sea Salt Holder

This is perfect for holding my sea salt next to my stove. I like that it has a small spoon for those times when I only need a pinch, otherwise I just use my fingers.

Great Item

Very functional item to have in the kitchen, I am considering buying a few more for other commonly used spices.

This item is fantastic. I love this item with the flip top, which I like alot better than the wooden box I was using with a slide top.

Just what I wanted

I wanted to be able to use kosher salt by the pinch just as you see on FN, but I didn't want to leave an open container out. With it's lid, this product fills the bill completely. I will probably order another to put ground pepper in.

Salt Server

I really love this product. It is the perfect size,easy to pick up and open with one hand also. So far my salt has not gotten wet or clumpy. That is amazing because I live in Florida and it is very humid.I highly recommend this product and the price is great also.Dianna

saw this salt server on alton brown's good eats but could never find it anywhere. excellent quality, love the cover to keep items fresh, will purchase another for different food items.

Waited a long time for this

I am a huge fan of Alton Brown. I have wanted this salt server for a long time. Not sure when it became available as I would check the food network store from time to time, only to be dissapointed that it wasn't available. Now that I have it, I love it as much as I thought I would. It is big enough to hold a lot of salt without having to constantly refill it and I love the spoon. You can use the spoon or it is big enough to grab a couple of pinches - just like Alton. I purchased 2 so I could have one for salt and one for pepper. This is a must for every kitchen.

AB's Salt Server

I have wanted a salt server like Alton Brown since the first time I spotted it on TV. The whole idea of it for Kosher Salt is perfect. Only problem was that the lid of mine was scratched, right out of the box. Not bad enough that I could not use it.

Just like Alton Brown uses

After watching Good Eats and watching Alton Brown using the salt server, I knew that I needed to have one. I had previously used an open bowl. This is so much nicer at keeping moisture and any stray dirt from the salt. I even bought an extra to give our daughter for her birthday. It makes a great gift for the cooks in your family.

If anyone loves watching Alton Brown as much as I do they will love his salt server. I looked at many stores and no one carried salt cellers and some didn't even know what it was! This is so nice to keep by the stove filled with Kosher salt. Functional and pretty too!

Salt Bowl

My daughter was so happy to find that you sold this salt bowl. She said Alton Brown always uses it and couldn't wait to get it for Christmas. I've used it myself now, too.
