100% Jamaica Blue Mountain® Coffee is considered by many connoisseurs to be the world’s finest. It is admired for its delicate balance of floral aroma, acidity and full body. However, it is the sweet, mellow, lingering finish that elevates this special coffee from all others. Simply the quintessential cup!

This rare bean is grown in the majestic hills of the Blue Mountains that rise up to elevations of 7,500 feet. In this hilly, rugged terrain the climate is cool with lots of rain and the soil is rich. This is considered perfect for growing coffee.

Talkin' Blues comes from the region within the Southern slope of the Blue Mountains, which is the oldest coffee growing area. This Typica variety coffee is produced under banana, Inga, mango and many other shade trees. This protects the soil and river basins from erosion.

The coffee cherries are hand picked for quality control, graded by size, density and color. The green beans are then inspected by the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica (CIB) the regulatory body established to protect the quality of Jamaican coffee. Talkin' Blues has been recognized by the CIB and carries the official Certification/Trademark of Jamaica Blue Mountain.

Very good blend for the evening

by kurt, NV
September 28, 2011

This is a good blend for coffee drinkers who like to relax in the evening or after dinner with a hot cup. I found the flavors to be very smooth and subtle with little to no after-taste or bitterness. I would recommend this blend for dinner parties and relaxing moments.

Tastes more Arabic than Blue Mountain

by Laurie, TX
May 11, 2011

After placing our order online we received our coffee very quickly. The coffee is quite good but has more of an Arabic taste than the Blue Mountain taste that we were expecting. I would order this coffee again. I am very impressed that part of the proceeds are given to charity. A great company that I would do business with again.

first Marley purchase.

this coffee is everything a JBM should be. but the seller should specify NON-CERTIFIED. tastes like real JBM, but there is no guarantee that it is not a blend/something else/etc. therefore the price is a bit too high.

A Coffee Flavor to Enjoy

by Glen, CA
April 30, 2011

First view, the packaging is attractive and pleasing to the eye. The aroma of the Blue Mountain coffee before and during its brewing is like a fresh bouquet of spring flowers. And, the anticipation of its flavor is worth the wait for the brewing to complete... it is absolutely delicious! Enjoy my friend!!

I placed an order online and was pleased about how user friendly the process was. The order arrived earlier than expected. The coffee is top notch, and I am proud to serve it. The story about the company and its use of organic methods and fair trade ethics make the experience all the better. Not only will I reorder; I just bought shares in the company. John Nelson

I was very happy when this arrived last week! I admit the price point does seem high, but if you're a coffee connoisseur like I am this coffee will satisfy your taste buds. I like to drink my coffee in the morning and this blend seems strong enough to start the day with clarity. I also love the packaging!

occaisinally splurge for top line coffee

by eric, PA
June 2, 2012

best coffee period ! ;{> i treat myself once in awhile to top of the line coffee (kona) and this just took 1rst place. yes it is pricey for us regular folk & i would buy a lot more if it was cheaper. i understand tho to get good items in life, people who raise/produce/market quality items must charge according to needs of furthering that product. capitalism somehow is getting a terrible rap these days by folks who don't understand that simple concept.... everybody benefits in that process!...worker/employer/consumer. & if the product is able to withstand the market demands... better yet ! please try this coffee for your pleasure ! )))

Great Coffee

by Frank, AZ
May 13, 2011

I am drinking a cup of Talking Blues as I write this. The coffee has a distinct flavor that is very unique. I was attracted to the product through the "Marley" name. I have been a huge fan of Bob Marley for a long time. The coffee stands on it's own. Not sure everyone would pay the price over a long period of time but it's nice to drink. My wife enjoyed the coffee and a tee shirt for Mother's Day.

Jamaican Coffee Beans

by James , CA
April 1, 2011

I was fortunate enough to be able to visit the beautiful Island of Jamaica in 1999. I was first introduced to Jamaican coffee while staying there and it is the BEST COFFEE I have ever tasted. When I returned to the U.S. and my home in California, I began my search for Jamaican Coffee. I found a web site that imported Jamaican coffee beans through Florida. Then I discovered the "Marley" website and Marley Coffee. The fact that your product is 'Ital' and helps sustain small growers fits perfectly with my personal life philospphy, as well as the Surfrider philosophy of "Think Globally, Act Locally." It is also why I am a member of the Inland Orange Conservancy, helping to sustain local, small citrus farmers. This is my "special treat" coffee; the Marley folks do it right. Order process and shipping are smooth and fast. Not inexpensive, the Jamaica Blue Mountain is a classic example of "you get what you pay for."
