100% Jamaica Blue Mountain® Coffee is considered by many connoisseurs to be the world’s finest. It is admired for its delicate balance of floral aroma, acidity and full body. However, it is the sweet, mellow, lingering finish that elevates this special coffee from all others. Simply the quintessential cup!

This rare bean is grown in the majestic hills of the Blue Mountains that rise up to elevations of 7,500 feet. In this hilly, rugged terrain the climate is cool with lots of rain and the soil is rich. This is considered perfect for growing coffee.

Talkin' Blues comes from the region within the Southern slope of the Blue Mountains, which is the oldest coffee growing area. This Typica variety coffee is produced under banana, Inga, mango and many other shade trees. This protects the soil and river basins from erosion.

The coffee cherries are hand picked for quality control, graded by size, density and color. The green beans are then inspected by the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica (CIB) the regulatory body established to protect the quality of Jamaican coffee. Talkin' Blues has been recognized by the CIB and carries the official Certification/Trademark of Jamaica Blue Mountain.

$39.00 for one pound is too expensive

by george, MI
July 4, 2011

I purchased the coffee because I recently became a stockholder based on research of an individual by the name of John Bell. I hope that on a commerical basis you offer a much better price than the #39.00 per pound that I paid. I did not purchase the stock inorder to make a quick dollar but rather to see my investment grow on a long term basis. George bHensley

I had Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee a few years ago and loved it. I have not been able to find it in Sacramento, but was excited to find your website offered it. Unfortunately, when it arrived it was not vacuum packed, but loose in the bag. Upon brewing, it tasted rather stale and bitter, not the smooth, complex, rich taste I remembered. I'm sure you have the highest standards for your coffee, and the service and shipping time were excellent. My experience with the ordering process was very good, I just wish the coffee itself had been fresher.

Talkin Blues Coffee Taste

by James, NV
May 24, 2011

I do believe the coffee has a distinct tastey flavor. I would actually order this coffee for my daily consumption if it wasn't so expensive. The price has me concerned. I understand the coffee is organic, but I could purchase four times the coffee of another premium brand at this price. I believe Rojan Marley may want to consider the economic situation for the average household. Although I prefer to consume products free of pesticides I do not have the luxury to pay for such high priced items.

Good coffee--nice representative of the Jamacian Blue but overpriced, even for JB--and we are stockholders!

Disappointed

by Mary , IN
February 10, 2012

I was so looking forward to this coffee having spent many vacations in Negril. I am sorry to say that the coffee was a disappointment to me. The depth of flavor is just not there. I tried using more coffee than normal with my Chemex and I tried different grinds with my burr grinder but it didn't help. I almost think the beans were too old.

We really enjoyed this coffee. It was smooth. A great start to a day. We would love to order it again but even including shipping 33 is too expensive for us.

Stale Beans

by David, IL
May 17, 2011

Highly disappointed in this product. I don't know if it was because the beans were very old or if my expectations were too high for such a fancy named and priced bean. In any event, the resulting coffee wasn't what I expected and I would not recommend this product.

Talkin' Blues

by Lisa, KS
June 5, 2012

I really loved the Talkin' Blues coffee! The only thing is that it was a little too expensive for the size. I do understand that it takes special processing to bring such a lovely coffee to the United States, but again, I'm not sure it's something I can afford all of the time. I will continue to enjoy Marley Coffee in the future though. Thank you!

Old coffee

by James, AZ
June 21, 2012

I was really anxious to get this coffee, but when I opened the package the grounds were old. I couldn't tell what the use by date said on the bottom either. In any case the coffee was good, not great for the price. I am a fan of the Buffalo Soldier coffee and it came to me in excellent condition and brewed to perfection. I will buy the Talkin Blues in whole beans next time and hope for a better coffee.
