beautiful steak knives

This was a gift to my daughter in law.....i purchased because of the name and also the fact these are not wood handled and compliment your china.

I bought these as a gift for my daughter and son-in-law. What I liked the best is that they blend well with nice flatware. They don't stand out like the ones with the black handles that kind of look like barbeque ware. Very sharp. Typical of Wusthof quality. the storage box is really nice and a great way to keep them sharp and keep from getting accidental cuts. Beautiful on table as well as useful.

Nice knives at a fair price

I obviously recognized the Wusthof name from some of my other kitchen knives and figured that I would give the steak knives a shot (especially considering the price). While they are not hand made, top of the line knives, they appear to be of good quality in terms of appearance, utility, and durability. Their simple, clean lines make them inobtrusive, but nice enough to go with most place settings. All in all, a great deal for the price.

good price, great quality

A good steak knife set and not a lot of money. Fits well into my existing utensils and cutlery. Knifes are sharp, get the job done. Case the knifes came in is nice as well. Great value.

The steak knife set was purchased as a gift and I selected it for the quality and workmanship that Wusthof provides. I have been using Wusthof Knives for several years and the quality can not be duplicated. I have always been pleased with Wusthof cutlery and the gift recepient was equally impressed with this item.

I am very impressed with these knives and would recommend them. The wood case is great for storage and ensures the blades are protected. They are nicely weighed and look nice with my existing flatware. We have used them on chicken and pork chops and they perform very well.

I love that these can go in the dishwasher as opposed to my other Wusthof knives.

size

Some of the men who viewed the steak knives thought they were too small for a man's hand but the women loved them especially the fact that they were beautiful and complemented the silverware rather than ruining the look of the place setting. The person receiving the gift has yet to use them so I cannot comment on their functionality. That is why I gave them a 4 instead of a five.

Value

Good quality and quantity for the price, also fits in with existing stainless ware.
Could be a little sharper and larger but does it's job.

Purchased for a wedding gift. Very attractive knives and presentation box. Since I didn't use them, cannot comment on the quality of the knives. But I would purchase for myself as well.

WUSTHOF STEAK KNIFE SET REVIEW

THE STEAK KNIFE SET WAS A BIRTHDAY GIFT THAT WAS ON MY DAUGHTER'S WISH LIST. SHE USES ONLY WUSTHOF KNIVES AS THEY WERE RECOMMENDED IN HER COOKING CLASSES, AND SHE HAS BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THEM. THE PRESENTATION OF THE KNIFE SET WAS VERY NICE WITH THE WOODEN BOX .

Knives look good and have a good balance. Maybe some embelishments on the handles would be nice, but otherwise very pleased. Nice case as well.

Got a gift card that I had to use

I think that items on cooking.com are over-priced. Got a gift card and had to use so this item seemed the most reasonable thing. The knives are quite nice but overpriced and I wouldn't have bought them if I did not have the gift card.

Best I've had

For a number of years I have been looking for reasonably priced quality steak knives. The Wusthof knives met my requirements. They are attractive and well-balanced. The wood case is an extra benefit.

I'm Very Happy With These Knives!

These are some handsome knives in a nice presentation box. They are made of 18/10 stainless steel...good quality. I would buy them again.

Wusthof steak knive set

We had been looking for a long time for a good set of steak knives, ours were cheap and rusting. We are very happy with this set. Wusthof may cost a little more, but is always worth the price.

knives are a little smaller than usual steak knives. They look great and they are very functional.
