While these knives are more expensive than the other set i have from target, the difference is very apparent and they are worth every penny.

Fantastic collection of knives, attractive & functional knife block. I've used nearly every knife in there, and the only extra knife I wish I had was a filet knife (and even that is less necessary as the other knives work as a substitute).

These knives are expensive, but they are excellent. The chef's knife (the one I have used most) holds its edge very well with a few swipes of the sharpening steel every few uses. Ergonomically, the resin handle fits my hand almost perfectly, and the overall balance is also spot-on for me. It is slightly on the heavy side compared to various other knives I have owned, but I prefer it that way.

Excellent knives

My husband and I are really pleased with these Wusthof knives. They are incredibly sharp and good quality. This set is missing a few of the additional knives we wanted so we had to buy the santoku knife and a few of the smaller knives separately, which got to be a bit pricey. But in general I think this is a great set and worth the extra money over other types of knives.

Excellent Knife Set for serious cook

I recently purchased the Wusthof Grand Prix II knife set to replace my well used but very rusted Chicago Cutlery set from 25 years ago. Although I had tried a number of knives for weight and balance, I wasn't sure if I would find it easy to adjust to a lighter weight knife. The Wusthof knives are well-balanced, and the lighter weight will certainly be a plus now as my fingers/hands continue to age. I'm sure I will enjoy using them for the duration of my cooking years. Excellent knife set. I love them!
