Steak Knives

I have used these knives for years, however, we only had 4, so we purchased more for when we have guests.

Great set of knives!

I bought these as a gift for my daughter and son-in-law. They had to try them right away. This set was replacing another set that they had. Their report back to me so that I could rate the set, was that the knives were absolutely wonderful. The case is a sturdy wood case and very pretty. They came in a bundle, individually wrapped in plastic, so they were not marred when they opened them up, and when unwrapped and placed in the case looked great. Very sharp, cut great, feel good and solid. Nice handling feel to them. My daughter also liked the fact that they came in a set-of-8. (Not too many, not too few.) For myself, they were a great price for the quality and beauty of the set.

Incredible steak knives!

These are the nicest looking knives, but better than that, they actually cut through meat as if it was butter. Best set of knives I have ever used or owned. I have the whole set of knives as well and love them all.

Love my new steak knives

I have wanted steak knives for a long time, so when these went on sale, I jumped at the opportunity. It was a tough choice between the wood case or the wood stand, but I opted for the case. I already have too many appliances and utensils on my kitchen counters. The knives are small, slender, but cut well. The edge is slightly serrated so can be used in many applications.

Glad to see that these knives were actually made in Germany. They match my Henkel professional series knife set very well.

Henckel Gourmet Steak Knives

As with all Henckel products, these didn't disappoint us. My only concern was the serrated portion of the knife, but it was not necessary. I am completely satisfied. My wife is thrilled, too, as they are a Christmas gift. The blades are extremely sharp and I even gave myself a little cut just taking them out of the wrapper!

Love them!

I got these knives for my parents for xmas and they are thrilled - they already have a Henckels cutlery set with a block but had cheap steak knives filling the slots. They come in a great wooden case and it's a really great gift at a great price.

nice weight. they are not flimsey or cheap. The box is nice to keep them in.

good quality

The knives are sharp. They are versitle. I use them for a lot of my cutting needs , not just steaks. I've had them now for almost a year and they are as sharp as when I got them.

One of the knife is crooked

The first set we purchased was great. We ordered another set and there were chips on the box and the wood inserts were unglued. We sent it back and Cooking.com stood behind the product and sent us another set. Even though they shipped it in a huge box so that nothing would happen to the box itself, it also had the same problems as the first one. We just thought it would be easier to use the wood glue and fix the wooden box ourselves then to keep shipping it back. It is a shame for that amount of money the wood case is made so cheap. Even though we haven't had any problem with the knives the case is made to cheap for the price I paid.
