Great Buy!

I thought for the price I would get some light weight pans, but not the case. Calphalon has lived up to it's reputation with these. They are large enough to make pasta for an army and easy to clean!

I love this set.

This is truly a multi-purpose set. It has so many uses and nests nicely for storage. It is a great soup/stock pot and steamer as well as a pasta cooker and potato boiler, and it steams pork buns or broccoli. I use it often.

Calphalon...Why would you use anything else?

If you have never used a Calphalon product...you have missed out on the best of the best! I have been using these products for 15 or so years now and I wouldn't trade any of them as everything always is great when I use these products. So what are you waiting for?

The lid was damaged upon arrival, but after emailing the website, I am expecting an exchange.
As others have previously commented, it requires a lot of water to use the insert. I havn't tried pasta yet, but the insert worked great for sweet corn.

I really am happy with this stock pot. I have been wanting one for quite some time now. its great.

A World Cooking Utensil

You only need this one Stockpot combination to perform multiple tasks in the Kitchen! From boiling pasta, fresh greens from the garden or market, fresh corn on the cob to steaming/poaching poultry and delicate seafood or just steaming hot dogs and/or buns!

I wanted to use all the parts before I gave

First I made soup / what a great stock pot. Then I cooked Pasta, no need for a colander, loved it. Next I steamed Brussell sprouts nice even steam, large enuff I did not have to stack them up. Good for two.

great product very versatile

I was so happy to receive my first Calphalon and had to make spagetti that night. I love the insert so I could lift out the spagetti and drain and still have my pasta water if I need it for my sauce.

Used All the time

I have needed a medium sized stock pot for sometime, but kept putting off purchasing one due to the price. I am so glad I decided this was the pot to try. I never realized how much I would use this pot. I HIGHLY recommend this as a staple in your culinary endeavors. Very well made, clean up is a snap!

Great Pot!

This pot is sooooooooooo worth the price. I love it for cooking spaghetti, and for making hard boiled eggs. I have never used a steamer, but now that I have one, I plan to learn some new recipes! A great find.

multi-functional pot

Great Pot

I read the reviews and went with this pot. The top did not fit well, as someone commented, but I only noticed it when it was very full of boiling water. In fact, at the time I was using it as a canning pot, another use I have not yet seen mentioned. It fits half pint and pint jars, if you only need to do a few. I have since used it in the oven, and it performed beautifully there as well. I expect it to be spectacular for steaming and spaghetti! Best thing is it still fits in my stove drawer, and with some careful rearranging I did not have to find a new home for anything. Much nicer than my old 6Qt pot.

Everything and more than thought it would be. Calphalon quality comes through with flying colors. Easy cleanup.

Great value!

Wonderful product. We also use it regularly as a soup pot. Heavy bottom distributes heat well enough that it won't burn during a long simmer. Pasta strainer and veggie steamer are a perfect size for a reasonable sized family or group. Pot and inserts clean up well even though they aren't non-stick coated.

This is a must for any well equipped kitchen.!

Stainless Steel Multi-Purpose Stockpot

The Multi-purpose stockpot is very sturdy and of good quality. I like it very much and use it daily.
