Infuse your chicken with intriguing flavors using this vertical roaster - it will be the most flavorful and moist chicken you've ever had! Made of quality, 18/10 stainless steel, this roaster begins with a vertical roasting stand that attaches to a large, round drip tray (the stand collapses for easy storage). In the center of the drip tray sits a round dish with cone-shaped top. Fill the round dish with herbs, spices, cider, juices or beer; as your chicken rests on the stand, the aromas and flavors from the liquids and herbs pass through the perforations on the cone-shaped top, filling the cavity of the bird and adding moisture to the meat as it roasts. Instructions on using the vertical roaster are included.

Please note: The instructions for this item are listed on the box. There are no paper instructions included.

Customer Reviews

Great product, easy to clean.

This vertical roaster is very nice, very stable, qood quality product made of 18/10 stainless steel. The chicken cooks nicely, crispy outside and juicy inside. I am surprised that it is easy to clean, compared to the charbroil non-stick one that I replaced where the teflon was peeling-off after years of use. I rated this 4 out of 5 because I want to see more improvements on this product in the furure. This would have been perfect if (1) the drip tray is deeper so I don't have to put it in another pan to protect the oven from grease boil over and (2) if the holes in the cone infuser are bigger so the steam from the juice cup can escape and get to the chicken for more flavor.

Works great and renders most of the fat from the chicken, left the skin crispy and the chicken was every moist. Best if you set it in a shallow pan to catch any overflow drippings. Also used it to roast a duck with the same great results and none of the smoke from oil splattering that usually happens when roasting duck. Very easy to clean up!

A little cumbersome to put together, plus it won't allow you to place the chicken head down, which is the ideal position to cook it in. The head cavity isn't large enough to accommodate the frame.

I used the vertical roaster for the first time the other night. It did an excellent job in holding (supporting) the chicken and providing even cooking.

However, it also did an excellent job of messing my oven terribly. Your instructions should definitely recommend putting a pan under the roaster to catch overflowing juices.

Crisp Roast Chicken at its Best

by David, WA

I had tried verticle chicken roasters in the past that were pathetic. This device had my chicken standing up straight looking like it needed a clean tie.
We did not try the infuser on our first effort, as we usually use rubs and wanted to measure the usual factors. What we did discover is that skin was evenly crisp on all sides. The pan that we put the chicken in was remarkably clean with grease ending up in a collection tray at the base of the chicken.
The end result was an evenly crisp chicken, somewhat more moist that in other methods and
I am looking forward to experimenting with the infuser.
The instructions suggest fascinating ways to employ the infuser and they all sound good. Experimentation will determine the result.

The concept of a chicken roaster/infuser replacing the dangerous beer-can roasting method was appealing, except that even at 400-450 degrees Fahrenheit the liquid in the infuser does not attain a sufficiently high temperature for steaming the chicken, and disassembling the roaster/infuser after cooking is itself a challenge. I got a tastier chicken and less clean-up frustration with the NapaStyle vertical chicken roaster, which in retrospect I wish I had seen/purchased before the Norpro.

This is great. I was setting my chicken over a can of beer or soda and it was very messy. This makes it cleaner and easier to remove from the grill.

I have always roasted chicken in a pan in the oven, which was OK.
But the Infuser is by far a better method. I usually eat the dark meat
because the white is less juicy. But after using the Infuser, it was as
juicy as the dark. Next time I will put it on the grill.

There is just no way to get a more flavorful and moist roasted chicken than by roasting with this infuser. I'm having a great time trying out different liquids like beer and apple juice or just the drippings in the reservoir. I have gotten a moist and delicious result with a crunchy skin on every bird I've roasted with this roaster and it's a breeze to clean up afterwards.

This product (Vertical Chicken Roaster) arrived in good time, and is very easy to use. The stainless steel construction makes it sturdy and easy to clean.
The only thing negative is that the box says instructions included, but there was no paperwork or instructions included in the box. There were limited instructions which included a typo, on the outside of the box.
Thank you.

I received the product later than I hoped (I had hoped it would arrive sooner but it took almost 7 business days to arrive, which was the last day in the window I was given). I was so excited based on the other reviews of the product that I anxiously had seasonings already prepared to

This roaster has made a huge difference in the way chicken cooks. It really helps to eliminate a lot of the grease while allowing the infusion of flavors to rise up inside of the chicken. I love it!
