This worked just fine. I have lost the strength in my hand & shoulder.I am the only one in my house now as my husband recently passed away. I needed something like this. It works!!

Although I like the concept of this product it doesn't work as easily as advertised - I've tried to use it several times on different types of jars and only got it to work correctly once - disappointed

Wish it accomodated large jars that one might use for picnics like pickles,relish etc. when you are feeding a bunch. These are very hard to open and a man with big hands is not always around.

This jar opener securely holds almost any lid size and the handle is sturdy and long enough to have leverage to turn without too much effort to loosen the lid. However, one has to have enough strength in the other hand to hold the jar securely.
