  • Jar Top? No Problem!

This gripper is excellent. It is very easy to use. I bought it for a friend that has trouble opening jar tops from time to time. She does not have a strong grip. I sent her this and after some fun getting it out of its bubble case, she is delighted. She enjoyed it so much, she purchased one for her mother.

    I recommend this product.

  • Simply AWESOME!

I have used my Gripper Jar opener for quite awhile and have found my arthristis issues resolved. I purchased additional grippers for Christmas gifts. They are a BIG hit. Whether you have challenges or not, this item is a must have for any pantry/kitchen. It illiminates the need to tap, bang, or use hot water on jar or bottle lids! The biggest plus is the virsitality of size for jars/lids. Simply AWESOME! I highly recommend this product to anyone considering a jar/bottle opener (and to those who haven't thought of it!) You won't be disappointed.

  • Ease of use

Of course I realize that not having a chance to use it yet, I have made some assumptions in my review. BUT I have bought many jar openers in the past and none have worked well for me. At 72 years of age my strength is not what it used to be, and I have small hands which have made it impossible to use them on openers with wide grips. I have high hopes for this item.

    I recommend this product.

  • Excellent product

My father is 85 years old and has been unable to open jars and even his bottled water because of arthritis and lack of strength in his hands. He is so pleased he is once again able to do these things. He resides in an assisted living center and is getting requests where to get this product. It works great!

  • Easy Jar Opening

This is truly an easy way to open a jar LID...Have had to have my husband hold a large jar so it wouldn't slip away from me. Solved that problem by putting the jar on a dish towel.

  • The Gripper Jar Opener has been the best thing I've purchased in a long time. After wrist surgery and tendonitis in both thumbs, I can again open jars myself instead of asking for help from my husband.

This is a jar opener that is effective. IT is the easier and best jar opener we have ever had.Once it is tightened on the lid - it is capable of reoving the most difficuty lids we could though at it.

  • This jar opener is indispensable, unless you have a husband or older son around all the time to open stubborn jar lids.

Perhaps it's because I'm getting older but it seems as if manufacturers put lids on to stay. Even bottle caps on small bottles are a struggle. I got tired of feeling helpless and having to ask my husband or son to open things for me.

I looked at all the different kinds of openers and decided on this one because of the positive customer reviews. I really didn't expect it to work so well. So far it has opened the stubbornist caps. I don't even bother trying to open them now. I just reach for the Gripper Jar Opener. I love it. It should be in every home.

    I recommend this product.

  • As my wife and I get older it gets more difficult to open some jars. The Gripper is by far the best opener we have tried, and we have tried just about everyone we've seen. It is easy to use, holds the lid tight and the handle is long enough to give good leverage for opening those stubborn lids.
    Thank you,

  • I bought one of these for my 92 yr old mother, one for my arthritic wife.
The first one I bough came from Ross' at 9.99 plus tax.
The second one I bought came from mfr's web site. It cost $14.95 plus tax plus $5.00 for shipping and handling. Even at an average of $15.00 each, it is still the best opener around.
The price difference is a problem, though.
