Terrific Jar Opener
This jar opener is the best one I have come across. It locks on tight to the lid of the jar or bottle, then you can turn the handle easily. I have very little hand strength due to arthritis. It was very painful and nearly impossible for me to open the twist off caps on 32 oz. bottles of grape, apple or cranberry juice. I have tried so many other jar openers, and none worked nearly as well or as easily as this one. I am so grateful that I finally found it!

I have a minor problem causing pain in my dominant hand. The Gripper Jar Opener allows me to open any jar/bottle effortlessly. It would be amazing for customers with arthiritis or any kind of hand pain or lack of hand strength. Next time you are frustrated trying to open a lid or cap, consider this terrific product.

This gripper is excellent. It is very easy to use. I bought it for a friend that has trouble opening jar tops from time to time. She does not have a strong grip. I sent her this and after some fun getting it out of its bubble case, she is delighted. She enjoyed it so much, she purchased one for her mother.

Great item ! Wife loves it.

My father is 85 years old and has been unable to open jars and even his bottled water because of arthritis and lack of strength in his hands. He is so pleased he is once again able to do these things. He resides in an assisted living center and is getting requests where to get this product. It works great!

I have used my Gripper Jar opener for quite awhile and have found my arthristis issues resolved. I purchased additional grippers for Christmas gifts. They are a BIG hit. Whether you have challenges or not, this item is a must have for any pantry/kitchen. It illiminates the need to tap, bang, or use hot water on jar or bottle lids! The biggest plus is the virsitality of size for jars/lids. Simply AWESOME! I highly recommend this product to anyone considering a jar/bottle opener (and to those who haven't thought of it!) You won't be disappointed.
3 of 3 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »As my wife and I get older it gets more difficult to open some jars. The Gripper is by far the best opener we have tried, and we have tried just about everyone we've seen. It is easy to use, holds the lid tight and the handle is long enough to give good leverage for opening those stubborn lids.
Thank you,

Purchased several of these openers as gifts for older family members. Everyone who tried the opener thought it was great!

After buying eight different (and expensive) jar openers from very high end kitchen stores, I saw this one on the down-to-earth, friend-to-all, all-around-best-Southern-Cook, Paula Deen's website. Ordered it! Received it! Used it! AND, it works! It works easily, efficiently, and effectively. It's used by the smallest grandchild to the oldest (and unfortunately weak) adult in my household. I'm going to buy a couple more for gifts.

I have purchased several different jar openers in the past to assist my wife who has a tough time due to medical reasons. this one works the best for us to date. I would definitely recommend it for people with R.A.

It works well on metal caps be they little as on soda bottles or big. Plastic caps have problem as the tynes have a tenancy to slip & it is difficult to tighten.
All in all it is the best I have tried.
