Try your hand at making zucchini ribbons or swirl your way to a gracefully garnished Asian salad with the Joyce Chen 9.5-in. Saladacco Spiral Slicer, which creates pretty edible slices that make any dish look fancier. This handy kitchen accessory offers two slicing options, so you can switch between creating thin, wide strips or tiny threads, depending on your specific cooking and garnishing needs. The device is simple to operate: just insert the vegetables in the top compartment and turn the handle to get instant results. It's compact enough to easily fit onto your kitchen counter alongside your other frequently used appliances. The durable stainless steel blades hold up well to everyday use, so you don't need to save this device for special occasions. Whether you're a raw food advocate or an eager learner looking for an easy way to make zucchini noodles or Thai papaya salad, you can turn every meal into a vegetable-filled adventure with this unique kitchen accessory. A clear plastic catch bowl at the bottom makes it easy to track your progress, so you can cut only the amount of ingredients you need without any waste. The catch bowl also keeps the slices contained away from the table or cutting board, keeping your workspace nice and tidy. When you're finished creating spiral slices, you can disassemble the device and place the pieces in the dishwasher to ensure a thorough cleaning.

  • I do not recommend this spiral slicer...

I thought this product was cheaply made. It did not perform as it said it would. My results were not long spiral stands of vegetables, but grated mush! Do NOT waste your money on this product!!

  • excellent product, my mom wants one

I thought the Joyce Chen Spiral Slicer was fantastic. It sliced zucchinis and cucumbers into angel hair thin strands in seconds. It made the healthiest spaghetti dinner I've ever eaten, and it was delicious! I tried using it with onions and will admit that I couldn't get it to work right - maybe I am doing something wrong? It more or less just juiced the onion. However, it worked fabulously with harder vegetables and fruits. Now my mom wants one. Definitely worth the money.

    I recommend this product.

  • Spiral Vegetable "slicer"

Key word on this product is "slicer." I was picturing spirals of squash, but what is really capable of is spiral slicing small "slices" of vegetables that you have to cut into small slices to begin with. Might be useful for small spirals to be used as decorative garnish.

  • Pretty good spiral slicer

The angel hair setting slices too thin which causes the vegetable to fall apart. The larger setting works well which is the setting I will use most often.

    I recommend this product.

  • It's Ok

It's a bit flimsy. The vegetables fall out of place a lot as your twisting the handle, so you have to stop a few times to adjust which gets annoying. I would pay $15 for something like this. Eventually, it does get the job done though!

  • Great product for veg lovers

Ordered the spiral slicer to make prep quicker. Had a bit of a learning curve at first to make the "noodles" but after 3 failed zucchini, got it right and now I use it for veggies and fruits. Had ;no idea what I was missing without this little gem

    I recommend this product.
