Great gift!

Years ago, I was given this very same cookbook holder as a Christmas gift. I have found it to be one of the most useful items in my kitchen! The product itself has held up quite well & has saved many a cookbook!

Very pleased with this cookbook holder. Easy to store and protects cook book - also holds it up so it is much easier to read. We self published a family cook book and sent the book with this holder to about a dozen family members - the gifts were a huge hit. I would recommend this product and feel it was a good value for the price.

My daughter a University student and because this cookbook holder lies flat she able to transport it in her backpack and uses it her lectures not only as a holder but also as a platform for taking notes. Coffee shops are relaxing places for many young students to hang out and study and this book holder is the ultimate apparatus. Many people have come up to us asking where they could buy it. Unfortunately this product is unavailable in Canada and may deter students from purchasing the product.

Holds any size cookbook (without falling over) and the hinged front is great for quick page turns

Simple. Good construction, better than average materials. The key for me was that this folds flat and stores easily. Given those elements, I think this is the best cookbook holder I could have possibly found after a long, long search.

I like the design very much. I hate the substance used to treat the wood. It smells like really old cooking oil. I have tried a few things to ge rid of that small, but no luck so far.

I would like to highlight this product on my new cooking site that I'm working on (http://www.allkindsofshiznit.com/cooking.php), but until I can find a solution to that smell - it is not workable.

The holder is great for most sized books, and really does a good job at protecting the pages. I do however have a few large books (like Marie Claire) that don't fit well. Really like how it can be packed away to save bench space when not needed.

I ordered this for my wife after we had our kitchen redone. I thought it would be convenient for her. She has used it quite a few times. It is good for all sizes of cook books from large to small.

This is a great basic cookbook holder. I often stack several books/recipes in it at once if I am planning a large dinner or party and it can hold them all well.

poor design

This product fails to do the one thing it is desgined to do which is hold up a book. There are hinges on the front of the plexigalss that allow the plastic to fold all the way forward (180 degrees), so when you put a book in it just falls forward. I don't understand this design.

Cookbook holder is the best!

My daughter asked for a cookbook holder so I searched on-line for the best cookbook holder in terms of usefulness and value for the money spent. I found a similar cookbook holder on another website for a lot more money, and read about other cookbook holders that were even more expensive but not a good value. She loves her cookbook holder and since she's the one using it, she highly recommends this product to anyone looking for the perfect holder for a cookbook. You need not look further than the Food Network store.

Its sturdy and allows you to have more than one book at hand. It is also easy to care for. I like the clean lines. It is an unobtrusive addition to my kitchen.

This was given as a Christmas gift. The receipient especially liked the hinge feature which allows the cookbook to lie flat.

Upon her review I ost likely will purchase one for myself.

It took me awhile to figure out how to set it up, but the quality is great.

Excellent product and service

I was impressed by the product itself, but I often find things I need on the internet. What I look for is something I can use BUT that isn't overpriced. The company that offers the best product for the least amount gets my business. I must say that I have nothing but praise for Cooking.com and the speed with which they processed and shipped my order. The item was amazing and I am enjoying it quite a bit. I will shop here again.

Wonderful and Useful Product!!!

This product is great! It holds your cookbook just right and you are able to turn the pages without any problems - the protective screen is not fragile and can easily be lowered without any problems so you can turn the page. Quick delivery, great product for the price...Totally recommended! I reviewed several other cookbook holders and this one was rated one of the best out there...
