  • This is Heavy Metal!

I love this thing! Slam your meat into the skillet and put this press on top. It is that simple. Heat and pressure does the rest- kind of like the way nature makes diamonds. This press is huge, like a manhole cover, and really does the job. I even use it to cook vegetables like green peppers and onions. I suggest that anyone who likes to cook own this bacon press. It rocks!

    I recommend this product.

  • This is very nice. not too heavy, pretty easy to clean. I don't like the writing on the bottom. I am afraid I might not get it clean. But it is pretty easy to clean and very easy to season. Overall it is a good product.

    I recommend this product.

  • Ok if you use it on a large grill. If yo use iti n a frying pan, the unit drips oil all over when you pick it up to turn the bacon

  • Round is better

I have had the rectangle presses before and they just never worked with the size frying pan I use but this one was the right size. It covers all the bacon at the same time.

    I recommend this product.

  • My family was amazed at the difference a bacon press makes. It fits perfectly in the skillet and helps cut down on the splatter. Most of the grease is pressed out of the bacon which helps cut down on the fat intake. My wife had no idea how much grease was still in bacon after cooking it until we poured it off after using the press.

    I recommend this product.

  • What can I say? I bought the cast iron double burner grill/griddle and cast iron skill. How could forget the grill press? Besides, it fits perfectly in my 10.5 inch skillet and works superb with the grill!

  • This press is wonderful. It completely fills the pan, unlike the rectangular shaped presses. The larger, wodden handle is raised up high enough that there's no problem from heat or splatter. If a meteor hits my house and destroys my press, you can bet I'll be back for another.

    I recommend this product.

  • I found this bacon press much to cumbersome to use in my preparing of breakfast foods. Much to large, too heavy and too pricey. The press take up half of my griddle, leaving little room for eggs, etc. Joe

  • I love this and my husband uses it to make sandwiches on the stove. The only thing I did not like was it seemed to rust quickly after I washed it. But once you care for it how the instructions say then it was ok again. It just seemed to rust very very fast

  • This is the biggest bacon weight you can find - it's nice and heavy, and does the job well. It can be awkward to take it out of the pan because there is grease everywhere, so I place it on a paper towel next to the stove and that works just fine. Cleans up easily. Fits perfectly inside a lodge 10.5 inch cast iron skillet.

    I recommend this product.
