I found this bacon press much to cumbersome to use in my preparing of breakfast foods. Much to large, too heavy and too pricey. The press take up half of my griddle, leaving little room for eggs, etc. Joe

This bacon press is very nice and heavy and has an attractive design on top. The only thing negative about it is that you can burn your hand when using the handle to pick it up. The wood part isn't long enough to keep your hand from touching the iron. Use a hot pad when handling it.

This press is wonderful. It completely fills the pan, unlike the rectangular shaped presses. The larger, wodden handle is raised up high enough that there's no problem from heat or splatter. If a meteor hits my house and destroys my press, you can bet I'll be back for another.
