a very useful product. the locking feature is really nice for both drawer storage and just minimizing clutter in cooking area. the nonstick insert prevents scratching delicate surfaces, yet still allows for a firm grip on food.

I had been trying to find a pair of non-stick tongs, that would hold up and work well. These do, not to flimsey and lock at handle is easy to use.

Strong grip

I was surprised by how nicely the tongs grip when you need it. No need to be concerned about flimsy tongs, these are made solidly and grip well. They are a little short so I guess I should get the next size up too but I have no doubt they would work as well.

I have had a set of professional tongs for several years but found I wasn't using them very much because of the inconvenient length. New non-stick pans necessitated new tongs so I tried the short ones and they are great. I can use them much more comfortably and with a lot more control. I find myself using them for all sorts of things and just love them.

these are easy to open and the teflon helps hold items being picked up in place

I was so happy to find these since I recently bought a new set of pots & pans that have the non stick interior. The locking mechanism works a lot better than the ones with the little ring you have to slide up and down.

These tongs have pretty good gripping ability though the tips could be a little thinner which would improve their precision. The soft tip feature is ingenious for those of us who like to cook with non-stick or coated pans.

Having nylon tongs is a must when cooking on nonstick surfaces and this oxo pair is just a bit nicer than others and sells at about the going price. Make sure you get a pair like this one that promises to be able to take temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
