Great Bread knife!

I had been serching for a good bread knife & am very happy with this Wusthof knife. The Wusthof brand cannot be beat. I have other knives from them & knew the quality. Cooking.com has wonderful prices also.

Perfect bread knife, sharp enough for heavy duty cutting of tough breads, makes excellent slices with little effort. Very handsome piece of metal and looks great on the table.

Excellent Knife!!!!!!!!!! Comfortable to hold and use. Zips through bread & bagels like a wire. I'll have to look into other Wusthof products.

They are scheduled for Christmas gifts and I have no opinion except that the one I do own is great. I wouldn't send them as gifts if I didn't like them. All my knives are Wustoff. The scissors are exceptional, especially sharp and the fact that they easily come apart for cleaning, makes them indespensable. Kathryn B. Mark

I actually haven't used it yet - it's bigger than I thought. My old one is an 8" but it's 32 years old (wedding gift) and the wooden handle is splitting.

I've been wanting a bread knife to complete my set and when the Wusthof came on sale, I jumped on it and am so glad I did. Cuts beautifully without smashing the bread. Would recommend this without reservation.

The handle is a bit short, otherwise, the blade is excellent. FoodTV shipped in a timely manner. This was my 1st purchase from FoodTV and it was a good experience.
