It is not an exaggeration to call this pan revolutionary. Like all springform pans, its sides are separate from the bottom and spring free automatically when the clamp is released. These sides, however, have a nonstick coating, so there is no need to run a knife between the pan and the cake—say good-bye to ragged edges. The base is heat-proof glass, which won't be marred by a knife when the cake is sliced and makes a nice serving plate. Finally, the pan has two large handles, a benefit when the filled pan needs to go from counter to oven.

I bought this on the recommendation of Cook's Illustrated, even though it seemed very expensive for a springform pan. I have used it once so far, and it worked quite well, although positioning the glass bottom in just the right way as you close the pan is a bit tricky. (There is no lip to

I've never baked a cheesecake from scratch in my life and have also never owned a springform pan. So, if you're a novice and want to buy a pan that's easy to use, cleans up fantastically, and doubles as a pretty serving plate, this is the one for you. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

I love it. The glass bottom is so much nicer than metal and easier overall cleanup, too. The handles are one feature that all springform pans need to adopt.

I was a bit leery about the whole cheesecake process, but with this pan and a great recipe the results are great. This pan performs exactly as advertised as I have made several cheesecakes since ordering. Each one is perfect and the pan has performed flawlessly. The extra expense of this pan to others is definitely worth it.

I love this springform pan. The handles make it so much easier to get the pan out of the oven. I loved this so much I bought it for my friend who is just learning to bake.
