Bakes too hot

I broke my glass 13 X 9 in. pan with straight sides that was my favorite for bars cookies. I replaced it with this metal pan because of the straight sides but it cooks too hot and dries out my favorite recipes. I knew it would bake a little faster so I took 6 minutes off my baking time but the bars were still dry and I had to cut the sides off to serve them.
