For baking layer cakes, you could use several pans but they may not all fit into your oven at one time. Instead, you can just use one pan such as this. Since it's 3-in. high, it can be filled with all of your batter, and once the cake has baked and cooled, you can cut it into as many layers as you wish. Made of heavy-duty aluminum, it measures 9-in. in diameter.

I was looking specifically for a cake pan deep enough to bake a pineapple upside down cake. This cake pan worked perfectly, producing an evenly baked cake.

This cake pan bakes very evenly. I usually line my pan with parchment paper for a smooth professional look. Very satisfied with this product, a must-have for any cake-lover.

Great cake pan

I always had the problem of get two cake layers to stack and bake the same, but now this pan is a great solution. You just pour all of your batter into one pan and the result is a great cake. I definetely recommend for simple baked cakes.

Came in with top half not smoothed out. Had ridges around the entire top half. Had scuffs and scratches on the bottom.

I purchased your cake pans because I was visiting my nieces over the holiday and did not have space to bring my favorite cake pans. Since I am the dessert master in my family my contribution is almost always the desserts.

I love these pans, my cakes were perfect. In fact I plan to order another set when I return from my holiday visit with my nieces.

Thank you

I had found a need for this pan and could not find this size pan in any local store. I do not like to buy things site unseen, but was pleased with the heavy duty quality of this product for the price.

Best Cake Pan

by Deborah, IA
July 12, 2011

I had been looking for 3 inch pans but everything was so.o.o expensive. When I got these I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy these were for the price. These are the 'Best' pans. I even had to gift some to my niece who's learning to bake.

To my disappointment, the pan is deffective (the rear isn't well rounded. It's sharp !! It almost cut my fingers. I have to use sandpaper to smooth it down. Is Parrish and Magic Line the same company? The pan I got is by Magic Line.
