This is a nice deep cake pan, and the light color is great for not over browning cakes. Easy to remove cakes as well. Great buy!

Nice 9x3 pan

by John, ID
July 29, 2008

You can tell this pan was made from one peace of aluminum. There are no joints or seams.

It works really well for cakes or custard pie.

I use this cake pan to make my cheesecakes. I line the pan with butter and parchment paper, bake the cheesecake in a water bath, and the cheesecake comes out perfect EVERY TIME!! I use this pan exclusively now, instead of spring-form type pans. I now own three of these pans, and also have two more in the 6x3 size. A must have for any baker!

Hurray, a 3 inch deep round pan

by Barbara, CA
July 4, 2007

A very good pan for the price. A heavy gauge pan like a professional baker would use. Nice to finally have a round cake pan deeper than 2 inches which is the normal depth.

ALTONS SOUR CREAM CHEESE CAKE

by mary, NJ
March 12, 2008

This cake made in the 3 inch pan is extrordinary. I made it with a regular cheesecake pan and found it a little too moist. One of the best recipes I have tried and the pan makes it that much better

Layer cake without layers

by Patricia , MI
January 7, 2010

These pans are just what I was looking for as a gift for my friend. She wanted a deeper cake pan to have a higher cake without smaller layers. They are sturdy and bake and release a completely intact cake.

I make italian bread in these and it is perfect. Holds a nice round of high rising bread. The breads come up perfect. It is easy to clean and very good heat conduction.

Quality commercial grade cake pan

by L Richard, TX
May 26, 2007

I was extremely pleased when this pan arrived. It is a heavy gauge commercial quality aluminium pan with a thick rolled edge in a hard to find size. If you have looked for cake pans at local kitchen ware vendors you will find thin walled black steel, aluminium and silicon pans in a 9

Nice straight edges!!!

I was unable to find these cake pans in the stores and I am very glad I finally found them! The best thing about these pans is that they have straight sides which allow the cakes to line up evenly once stacked on top of each other. Most new cake pans have a slight tilt which makes for an uneven edge. I would highly recommend these cake pans!

I love this pan! It is great for making layer cakes, large cakes, and so much more. It bakes evenly, cleans so quickly and I just can not rave enough about it. I actually purchased three more for my business. I highly recommend this product.

Now I can make my favorite cake without making a buttered collar 1st (for the 2" pan). Much simpler. This pan does discolor in a water bath, but who cares?

Cool, deep, cake pan

by Lisa, AP
November 2, 2009

Great sized pan. I wanted this pan ever since I saw Alton Brown use a similar one in which to make cheesecake. It's nice and deep (holds an entire cake recipe... no need for greasing and dusting two pans) and is just an all around good pan.
