I followed the directions carefully, and the dough was BARELY usable at the end. I had to kind of patch the edges together with dabs of water - luckily, a trick I know. And it smelled like apple cider vinegar, which is just a bizarre addition in this recipe. Never again. I'll stick to Grandma's recipe...which I lost, momentarily.

I'm used to doing the old tried & true pie crust with nothing more than butter, salt, water and flour but this time I thought I'd try something a little fancier. Let the unused mess of dough in my garbage pail stand as a testament to how it turned out. I think it would have tasted great if it ever became manageable enough to actually make into a pie crust. It was just WAY too crumbly even after I got it into a ball and just never flattened out right. Stuck to the roller too. Simply no good.
