Simple Lemon Baste

Yield:  Makes: about 1/2 cup
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup olive oil or melted butter
Grated rind of 1/2 lemon
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tsp finely chopped parsley
1 tsp chopped fresh marjoram or 1/2 tsp dried marjoram leaves
Freshly ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS
Put all ingredients in a small heatproof pan and beat well to combine. Place on side of barbecue grill to warm slightly and use a baste for fish, chicken and vegetables.
