Family loved it.
Easy to make. I peeled & chopped while browning the meat. Wine was a 2009 Australian Pinot Noir. Next time I'll add a bit more tomato paste. You know it's a keeper when they take their first bite and stop to tell you how good it is. I served it with garlic mashed potatoes and bakery baquettes.

Why does the recipe call for kosher salt if pancetta is also an ingredient?

it is very good and very easy to cook .
