Fun to make
These are different because they're soft--like a pancake. If you use unsalted butter, add a dash of salt to the batter. And I also found it only makes 20 cookies. Deirdre

So disappointing!
So excited when I saw this recipe -- going to bake with grandson. Made 1/2 batch -- thank goodness. All they did was fall apart no matter how little or long I cooked them.

Yummy Boot Track Cookies
I found this recipe in another magazine that was almost exactly the same. When I saw the whole wheat I thought yuck city! I was wrong! They were easy to make and good-so good I almost forgot to add the confectioner sugar!

My kids loved them!
We made these this morning. My girls thought they were neat to make and tasted great. I would use this recipe again for school functions for a different flair. We got about 20 cookies out of it using regular spoons to drop them.

Not as good as they look
I was really excited to make this recipe with my granddaughter. It was fun, but they stuck to the waffle iron and didn't taste as good as they look. We put some whipped cream on them, but I don't think we will make them again. Too messy. It took longer to clean up than to make and eat them.
