Noooooooo!!! Now here's a holiday tradition that I hope to never try. My husband is a Baltimore native and told me that he grew up with sauerkrat served up alongside his Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. I find this combination weird and a bit repulsive to be totally honest. Sorry, but Sauerkraut belongs with hotdogs and knockwurst. Can't ever accept it as anything other than a casual food relish.
