Ginger!!
I did everything like the recipe said, but mine did not taste like a pumpkin pie at all. All anyone could tase was ginger. It looked beautiful but the ginger taste was too strong. I would try it again but with only half the ginger.

Enhanced Pumpkin Praline Pie
For additionaltaste treat, I add 1-2 Tablespoons Grand Marnier to the mixture before baking....adds just a touch of orange flavor and is delicious!

I first made this pie in 1959....
My husband found the recipe in the 1959 Pillsbury Cook-off..and we have made it every year since...I cannot tell you how many I have given at Thanksgiving Time...It has been my personal trademark for all these years and now the rest of the world is learning how wonderful it is to bit into the pie and find the surprise awaiting at the bottom.....ENJOY....
