All Gone!
I made these for a party my parents were hosting for a few of their friends. This is the only appetizer that was eaten all up. Everyone loved it. So easy to prepare and make.

Where's Jessica's review everyone's talking about?
This looks great. Everybody seems worried about "Jessica" and her comment about the italian sausage. Maybe she had her review deleted as I can't find it. Anyway, all seem to agree the sausage is to be cooked first, as that is what the ingredient list says. So, saute it until no longer pink and keep on trucking. Faun's idea of sauteing the mushroom caps first to release the water sounds good. That can be done in another saute pan while the sausage browns.

Microwave Stuffed Mushrooms
I made these mushrooms for Thanksgiving and they were the worst mushrooms I have ever tasted. I love mushrooms and will never, ever make this recipe again. To me, 1 measuring cup is too many to give this recipe.

Cook the shrooms
I love mushrooms but there is a reason we saute them. Release the water! If you bake the caps before stuffing them you get mushrooom goodness, not water. This is true with all mushroom recipies.

Jessica - READ the recipe
This recipe calls for 4 oz of COOKED Italian sausage. Geez. It sounds wonderfully easy to me and I will try it for Thanksgiving this year. Who needs turkey with these?

Jessica...of course the sausage is cooked. Hence in the list of ingredients is says "Italian Sausage, cooked".

cooking sausage is included
to the previous reviewer...the first paragraph lists all the ingredients except the caps to be microwaved...then added to the caps and microwaved again...so I'd say the sausage is cooked;)

Stuffed Mushrooms
I haven't tried this recipe yet, but it definitely says "cooked" after the sausage.

UMMM GOOD
Really very good and easy to prepare. If Jessica read the "Ingredients" she would know that the sausage is cooked!!!

What a great recipe!!
I tried this recipe last night. What a great combination of tastes. YUM!! Wasn't concerned about the original review, since the recipe calls for bulk sausage, cooked.
