Great Find
I made it with ground beef, it was delicious! Flavors are suprisingly complex for a ground meat recipe. We can't wait to have it again.

Love, love, love this dish!
For previous review... Yes, the recipe does say about meat "1 pound lean ground chicken, turkey, or beef". I use only beef. This picture is terrible for this so perfect dish. This dish seems complicated but it's not. You can prepare the meat sauce a day before so then the next day you'll only have to boil the pasta and make the beshamel (white sauce). In the cooked cooled pasta you only put egg whites and in the beshamel you put only the yolks. On the beshamel you sprinkle cheese.

What is the meat in the meat sauce?
I re-read the recipe three times but don't see any meat mentioned. Seems like part of the recipe is missing.
